Halo 3: ODST was developed by Bungie and published by Microsoft Game Studios. It was released originally in 2009 for the Xbox 360. It is a first-person shooter. Set in the science fiction universe where humanity battles the alien Covenant, it is a separate expansion to Halo 3 and part of the larger Halo franchise. Players are introduced to the perspective of Orbital Drop Shock Troopers by ODST, elite human soldiers and focuses on survival, stealth and tactical gameplay in an unkind, occupied city, unlike the conventional Halo games that follow the super-soldier Master Chief. With a darker tone and narrative-driven structure, the story takes place in the destroyed city of New Mombasa during the events of Halo 2 and Halo 3. To provide a more familiar and practical experience within the Halo universe is the purpose of Halo 3.
Players must depend on careful exploration, teamwork and tactical movement to survive. Portraying the vulnerability of ordinary soldiers in galactic war, the game focuses on noir-style atmosphere and emotional storytelling. Within the Halo franchise, it serves as both a narrative bridge and a special gameplay experiment. Its sandbox-style exploration of New Mombasa, investigation elements and improved stealth and nonlinear storytelling structure where players piece together the fates of squadmates are the key features of Halo3: ODST. Highly acclaimed five mode is introduced in the game, where four players fend off waves of enemies setting similar modes in the later modes. A polished version of Halo 3’s is included which is a multiplayer suite offering early access to Halo: reach beta.

How to Install and Download Halo 3 ODST
