Call of Duty: United Offensive was developed by Gray Matter Interactive and published by Activision. It is an expansion pack for the original Call of Duty. Built upon the success of the base game it introduced new single-player missions, multiplayer maps and gameplay enhancements, it was released in 2004. United Offensive expands the captivating and cinematic first-person shooter experience, set during World War II. Placed the players in significant and crucial battles across the Western Europe, The Eastern Front and the Battle of the Bulge.
Utilizing tanks and Jeeps for both combat and transportation, players can now involve in vehicular warfare. New gameplay modes are introduced, in multiplayer such as Domination and Capture the Flag which add variety and replay value. An expanded campaign with new missions for American, British and Soviet forces, enhanced graphics and effects and a more refined AI system are the main features of the game. A stamina system is also included to the game, enables sprinting and adds a tactical layer to the movement.
